My Experience at People Palace

I am lucky to have a very generous office mate. He treats our team to this Modern Thai Cuisine restaurant, The People Palace. People Palace is located at the Greenbelt 3.  I am very excited when he said that we need to try this food for at least once in a lifetime. So I've search for that restaurant and gather some reviews.

I've read so many good approvals for this restaurant. They said that they serve a good Thailand food and they are really satisfied with it. I also love spicy food and their most recommended dish is Spicy Chicken Curry. The foods are bit pricey but it is really good.

Stir Fried Chicken and Cashew Nuts, Pineapple Seafood rice, Green Chicken Curry 

Our food composed of, Pineapple Seafood rice, which I really love. Steam rice, Stir Fried Chicken and Cashew Nuts, wherein I love the softness of the chicken. Phad Thai, the rice noodles with a powerful flavor with some chicken also. And the last one but not the least is the Green Chicken Curry which I am not satisfied about the taste.

 I have Strawberry, Banana, Vanilla, and Yoghurt for my drink.

For our dessert, we try the Mango Cheesecake Baked. It is good too, you can really have the real bits of Mango together with the cheesecake. I would really recommend this Chocolate Cake and Vanilla Seed Ice Cream, the ice cream is too delicious that you can really said how do they made this one. It is really perfect together with the chocolate cake. Then we try the famous Pavlova Mango and Passion Fruit, and this one really disappoints me. First I've try to taste the syrup filling of it, and I totally burst out. It has a very bitter taste that ruins all the lovely food that I've ate. I think they just good in the presentation of this desert.

All in all, I can say that I would definitely come back to this place and bring my family and friends. The food price here are really pricey but when you taste their food’ you can say that the price is just right.

What To Do On Weekends? It's Bonding Time!

I always spent my weekends bonding with my little boy and my family. I make sure that my weekends was only for him and no work can be done on that day. In that case, I can have a lot of time to play with him and teach him.

Gabriel loves to play basketball; he became interested on it since his father always watched basketball games on television. We bought him a small ball and his own basketball ring that he may used in playing.

Sometimes he used his father Spalding ball which is quite big and heavy for him. I don't know why, but he enjoy to use it rather than his small ball.

He loves it when he got someone attention and praise him. As a mother, I always cheer and claps for him whenever he got a perfect shoot. But, whenever he sees that you're not paying attention to him, he will going to throw the ball hard straight to your face for you to acknowledge him. Hahaha..so you better watch out.

Godzilla Burger in Tokyo Tokyo Review

My officemate and I went to Tokyo Tokyo today to try their Godzilla Burger for our lunch, but before that we looked for some food review about it to know if that is really good. As we read some of  the food review that we saw, we became excited to eat that Godzilla burger.

Upon ordering I notice that the price of the Godzilla Burger is 145 and it doesn't  include the wasabe fries and the red tea. So if you like to add wasabe fries and red tea you may add additional payment.

Unfortunately, I forgot to bring my phone as we go out the office, so I find a picture to share with you on how it looks like.

From 1-10, and 10 being the highest. I will rate this Godzilla burger as 5. I am not happy with it, sorry for the fans of this food but for me its just an average.  I am not fan of burgers, but I am very strict on judging a grade when it comes to the taste of any food. 

The Godzilla Burger have double cheese and double patties, and when you take a bite it taste like other burger out there, for me I can't find any special taste on it. 

The Wasabe fries looks good and yummy, it is good but it's too salty. You can drink the sweet red tea if you feel the saltiness of the fries. 

Well, I think if I want to eat burger again, I will just go to Burger King. I bet I am not the only one who was disappointed with this burger. Hahaha

Review: Warm Bodies 2013

As I watch all previous movies about zombies, I thought all the story goes on how they are so dangerous,epidemic, etc. that you need to keep yourself from them in order to live. Then my officemate Tere shared a movie to me entitled "Warm Bodies". It was a movie that showed last year (2013) and I expect that I would be like the other movies that I've watched before.

At first I feel so bored watching it, but then in the middle part there is some twist of comedy, and I can say that it is not just a paranormal zombie story but it is also a romantic one.

So it says that the zombie can be cured by eating brains of the humans, or they can be cured by themselves.
Hahaha, I just love the part where the zombie was cured and became in loved by the girl.

Lesson I03: Perseverance and Determination

There are times that you encounter a lot of problems in your life. Problems for me are the challenges that God made, for you to stay strong and to test you, that’s why I always think of it in a positive ways.

Tips to reach your goals and have a positive outlook in life, bashers, critics and bullies are always there wherever you go. It is just up to you how you will manage them in your everyday living.

·         Ignore all the negative things that they saying about you, it won’t help you because they are only say those things to put you down.
·         Prove them that you can do all the best that you can even they are still not believing in you.
·         When you feel alone and no one likes you, don’t forget that there is someone out there who really loves you. Just pray!
·         They are behind your back for a reason, that's why they talking behind your back haha..
·         Think about your family and love one’s, for you to have an inspiration so that you can do the best that you can.
·         Just think positive and listen to the people who also have positive vibes.
·         Perseverance and Determination - don’t be afraid to do difficult things, as long as you believe that you can do it’, you can really do it! Just believe in yourself.

Sometimes it is ok to cry and became weak, you are only a human being that have a feeling, but after you cry think about the reason of it, so that you can have another reason to be strong and be brave.

July 29, 2014 Observance of Eid’l Fitr (Feast of Ramadan)

Huray for another Holiday!

Malacañang has declared July 29 this year as a national holiday in observance of Eid'l Fitr.

The declaration was made by President Benigno Aquino III through Proclamation No. 826. The proclamation, dated July 10, was signed by Executive Secretary Paquito Ochoa Jr.

"To promote cultural understanding and integration, the entire Filipino nation should have the full opportunity to join their Muslim brothers and sisters in the observance and celebration of Eid'l Fitr," the proclamation read.

Eid'l Fitr, the end of Ramadhan fasting, was declared a holiday to "bring religious and cultural significance" to the Muslim celebration, Malacañang added.

Eid'l Fitr is celebrated by the Muslim world for three days after the end of the month of fasting.

Republic Act 9177 mandates the government to declare this Muslim celebration a national holiday.

The observance of Eid'l Fitr this year will fall a day after Aquino delivers his fifth State of the Nation Address before Congress on July 28.

Typhoon Glenda

Weather forecasters closely monitor satellite images of Typhoon Glenda as it hit on the land.

Glenda, the seventh tropical cyclone to enter the Philippines this year. Glenda maximum sustained wind of 110 kilometers per hour and gustiness of up to 120 kph. It was forecast to move west at 30 kph.

Stay at home and be safe. If your place is not safe, go to the nearest evacuation center. It is also good if you already packed your important things especially your personal documents, medicine and a 72 hour survival kit.

I hope we can have a zero casualties in this typhoon. Keep safe everyone.
It is still better if we get ready to the possible things that may happen.

This movie is recommended to me by my officemate, she said that I will surely going to love this one because it is about music. Definitely I do love music and singing.

The girl named Beca, is a freshman at Barden University, was convinced into joining “The Bellas”, it is an all-girls singing group in her school. Adding some much needed energy into their repertoire, The Bellas need to compete on their male rivals in a campus competition.

The Treblemakers is also an all boy’s group at Barden University and Jesse the boy who has a crush to Bella is also a member of Treblemakers. Take a look their final performance.

I can’t wait to watch the Pitch Perfect2, so excited hahaha. When I was a kid’ I dream to be part of a singing group in any genre, but sad to say I have no chance to do it.
