2017 Goals for All time

Hi Guys, it’s been a while. I have so many things in mind that I need to write about. Honestly I really need to be more careful in spending money. I spent too much since I love buying and eating food, I even gained weights. Before I started my present job. I am only 59 kg. But now I am 65 kiloooo… now I know why somethings I feel so tired. Also, I need to secure many things for my family. So I will list it down, so I can do first my priority over my needs.

1.       Insurance for my family.

This year I realize that my parents aren’t getting any younger so I need to settle all the things that they may need in the future. So I need to invest some money so I don’t need to worry about in time that they will need it.

Ø  Red Cross Membership – I decided that I need to have this since it is onetime payment only and it is good for one year. The good thing that I found out in being a member of Red Cross is they also offer insurance for death, disablement and dismemberment. Ahhh.. that’s the farthest thing I know for now. I need to attend their seminar once I apply for the membership so I can ask some questions that I concern about.

Ø  St. Peter Membership – I am planning to get this one to so that I can use it for emergency. I don’t want to inform my mother that I will be getting this because I know she will definitely freak out. Hahaha. So let’s keep it a secret okay?

Ø  Phil health – I know it may take a lot of time for me to update this and also I need cash so I better save for this. Maybe I need to file a leave so that I can process all of this.

2.       Parents Birth Certificate

I already process Mama’s late register birth certificate I am just waiting for it to send it to me.

For Papa, I will need to go to NSO office to claim it.

3.       Emergency Kit

I always put in mind I need to complete this but whenever I have free time I forgot that I need to do it. Hehehehe.

Ø  Nebulizer - I already have this since last year.

Ø  Thermometer -

Ø  Blood Pressure machine -

Ø  Glucose monitoring machine -

Ø  Things for wounds

4.       Increase my investment in Stock Market.

I started joining COL financial last 2015, when my officemate bring someone to discuss about the benefit of having a stocks. I swayed by their good words so I decided to give it a try. But since, I don’t have enough money. I didn’t have time to increase my investment. So this year I want to give it a try again. (Wish me Luck!)

5.       Increase my Assets

I am very happy that now I can say I have my own things that can call assets.

LED TV – I bought this for only 3,000 by my Uncle. He totally win it in their Christmas party last                      year and he decided to sell it to me.

Refrigerator – My mother in law gave this to us because they can’t bear the increase in their                                      electricity bill, the sad thing is it has a leakage so it eats so much electricity. My                                   mama always say that I need to buy a new one to lessen the bill. Hopefully this                                                 year!

Laptop – I bought a new Lenovo Ideapad 110 via Lazada. It cost same amount if you buy second                                                hand. So I prefer to buy a brand new. By the way, the money came from my SSS                                              Salary Loan. L

Internet Connection - I bought a prepaid wifi modem, it is Openline to all network so I don’t                                       need to worry if I need to switch my connection.

Motorcycle – This on is actually for my husband. I just contribute some money for the                                                   accessories. It is conjugal property. Hohohoho

House and Lot – This one is my Big Dream to have my own house and lot. It really sucks that I                                     am currently renting right now. It eats a big amount of my salary. I hope I can                                     have this someday.

Car – Oh’ I know this is only falls on the needs. I know someday I can have this. (Fighting!)

Aircon - Mama always complaining to me that I need to buy an aircon so that we don’t need to                                 suffer a lot during summer days. (How I wish mama’ I need to focus on the                                         priority first.)

6.       Savings

I know! It is really hard to save right? Especially me! I can’t control myself whenever I crave for something. But I will try my very best to stop this nonsense attitude. I will just think that this is for the future. J Save!  Save!  Save! 

7.       Sideline / Part time

I know I badly need this! Since I have so many things to do that I listed up here. I always pray and hoping to get a sideline that will fulfill all the things that I need. I know in God’s will everything will fall in time.

8.       Healthy Body

C’mon I know it’s really hard to stay fitted. So I already accept the fact that I can’t bring back my old body to the present. I’m just hoping that in spite of all the things that I need to do I can still have time for my Zumba session and monitor my weight. Isn’t amazing????? Hahaha..

That’s it! Let’s hope for the best.  I know I can do it. I can do this!! Fighting!!

Pasalubong!

Whenever my friends travel to different places in the Philippines. I've always got my "Pasalubong"(Presents) from them. Also because I can't accompany them through their journeys.

Wake Me Up When September Ends!

Hi Guys,

It's been a long while since I was inactive here.

And now, the "Ber Months" has already started. I feel so happy whenever they started the yearly countdown for  Christmas. Apart from the reason that,it is Christmas', it is also my birthday!

Oh' Em! I feel like an old lady! hahaha kidding!

Of-course not! I don't feel old. I feel more responsible and smarter for my self. I can make my own decisions, thinking the pros and cons and etc.

This month, I need to take a list on what I needed to do, balance my budget, and consider the top priorities. And the only answer to those problem... is..... "MONEY!! MONEY!! MONEY!!" haha.

I wish someday I can be a millionaire. I will surely use it in a very good way. haha feels like I'm dreaming that I won a lottery. Well, dreaming is for free so I can dream on whenever I want.


So I think I can make an online list like this, so that I can easily remember everything that I need to do.

Okay!

1. Need to save 3,000 php for Gabriel Chicken Pox Vaccination (October) - Oh' em it's kinda sucks! It was hard to lessen our allowance and grocery budget for this vaccine. But, I need to do it, so I need to push through this one. It's for Gabriel health by the way. haha

2. Planning for my Mom's birthday (It's on October also)- Well, mama doesn't want to celebrate her birthday in a party way, but still I need to make something that she would love. It's my way of saying "Thank you so much for taking care of my son every single day! I love you so much! muah ,, muah,, chup chup.." lol. I just wish she would love whatever I can bring.

3. Buying refrigerator and T.V set (December)- Well, I already planned what I am going to do with my 13th month pay, and that is to buy refrigerator. If I can have it, I can sell "ICE for 3 pesos each" and the revenue will use as payment for our electricity. Haha I just hope it works!

4. Buying gifts/presents (December)- Oh' wish I can also have many presents as what I've gave. Anyway, they just have the saying that "It's better to give, than to receive". I believe in that saying though,

5. My birthday (Christmas Day!) - All I want for Christmas is to celebrate it with my complete member of my family. I wish them a good health and more blessings. I am happy enough to see them that they are appreciating the things I can provide.


And those are my top list to do this Ber months. I hope I can do it all!

Holla, I’m back to share you this very interesting news. Didn’t I’ve told you that I’d love freebies/samples? Hahaha Well, I guess so.

I was glad that I came across this site. I was really looking for a free product samples here in the Philippines. Sadly, all the sites that I’ve checked were only good for US or Canada. That was the time I’ve said “It’s so unfair! Why they don’t have free samples here in the Philippines.”

EverydayMe is a website that contains reviews and information of all products of P&G. They give free tips and recipes for moms like me. Well, I really love their site. There is also a review section for each product. You can write a review on the product that you like, and if you’re lucky you can have the chance to won, that is if they love your review.

What is the prize??

Well, it depends on the product that you reviewed. Some of the member’s that already won got a 1 year supply of their favorite shampoo. Some winners got 6 months supply of their favorite detergent powder.

Isn’t great?

Well, for me that was really great! Just imagine how much you can save if you won and have 1 year supply of your favorite shampoo. Palace releases new holiday dates

Have you heard the news?

If not' I am here to share it with you. :)

MANILA - Malacanang on Tuesday released three new holiday dates for 2015 and 2016.

The Palace has declared November 18 and 19 as non-working holidays in Metro Manila to give way to the APEC Summit.

The Philippines is expecting all the leaders of the 21 member- economies of APEC, including Chinese President Xi Jinping, US President Barack Obama, Russian President Vladimir Putin and Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, to attend the APEC Economic Leaders' Meeting (AELM) from November 18 to 19.

The Palace has also declared Feb 25, 2016 as a special Non-Working Holiday throughout the Philippines for the 30th anniversary of the 1986 EDSA Revolution.

On the other hand, July 27 is a special national working holiday throughout the country based on Republic Act 9645 signed in 2009. RA 9645 declares July 27 of every year as a special national working holiday in recognition of the founding anniversary of the Iglesia ni Cristo in the Philippines.

The Palace earlier declared July 17, 2015 as a regular holiday throughout the country in observance of Eid'l Fitr.

Late post for June!

Hello, fellas!

I’ve been so busy last month that’s why I have no time to give you an update. Well, even it’s too late for the June post; I still want to share my story to you. It’s not quite good though, you can just say your opinion later.

The month of June was not a good month for me. Why? here are the following reasons.

• Gabriel had been hospitalized because of  Pneumonia
• My father 60^th birthday celebration got postponed because we badly need the money for Gab's medication. (though he understand the situation I know that he's sad)
• I’ve got 3 lates at work for the month of June
• I've got hospitalized too.

I will share to you the whole story at my next post the reason behind why my son Gabriel got hospitalized. I wish you can still have time to read it.

Gab First Confinement Because of Pneumonia

I really don’t understand why my son got Pneumonia. Gab has cough and flu for almost a week with on and off fever for 5 days. He also lost his appetite and so hard to persuade to eat. Even though his sick, he is still very active in playing. He still plays basketball with his Tito’s even he has fever. When his fever didn’t get any changes, I decided to bring him to a pediatrician near our house.

It was Sunday and I am glad their clinic was still open. The doctors asked me a few question and checkup Gabs breathing and throat. She said to me that my son has pneumonia and I need to bring him to the hospital to admit him. Doctor says Gab is already dehydrated and his tonsil was already swelling. He needs to be confined to undergo in some laboratory test.

That was the time that I break down. I cried and cried while the doctor explaining the possible things that may happen if I don’t bring him to the hospital. She assured me that I don’t need to be worry to the bills because my son is my dependent in my Philhealth. She already called to the hospital to reserve us a room for confinement. So all I need to do is go home and pack some things for Gab and bring him to the ER  ASAP.

When I go home, I told to my dad that I need to bring Gab to the hospital and I am so thankful that my father never leaves me that time. I am still crying while packing that Gab needs to the hospital. When they say that everything’s will going to be alright but I can’t help myself from worrying.

I hate to see my son crying while they putting the dextrose to him. We waited for some test to be done before we go to our respective room. My husband didn’t know that we are at the hospital co’z he still at work. I just text him to come over and help me to pamper Gab.

When the results come out the doctor confirmed it that it is mild pneumonia, she says I am lucky that we found it early. Pneumonia is a lung infection that can make you very sick. You may cough, run a fever, and have hard time breathing. For most people, pneumonia can be treated at home. It often clears up in 2 to 3 weeks. But older adults, babies, and people with other diseases can become very ill. They may need to be in the hospital.

His doctor also said that he has Primary Complex and it needs to be cured. Primary complex, a form of Tuberculosis, is a disease that is common among children. It is caused by infection from the bacteria Mycobacterium tuberculosis [1]. Virtually all transmission of Mycobacterium tuberculosis is from person to person, usually by mucous droplets that become airborne when the ill individual coughs, sneezes, laughs, sings, or even breathes [2].

She gave prescription for Primary Complex and I will share it to you the whole story on my next blog. We stayed at the hospital for 3 days and I can say that Gab was already improved. He is more alive and he’s looking for food to eat. He can’t wait to go home and play with his ball.

I am grateful that I found a good Pediatrician for my son. She assisted us so well and she guided me on the things I need to do. Even on how I would discipline my son and manage his tantrums. I will be happy to recommend her to my friends if ever.

Anyway, to sum it all, I learned that I need to be very strict on the health of my son. I don’t want him to go to the hospital in the future.

It's May!

Hi guys' its been a long times since i post my last update. Haha I don't want to give any reason about I just accept the fact that I am not consistent in writing.

Well this month of May I have some goals that want to achieve. I want to start in a very first step so it'll be more easier for me to do it.

I make a list so it will remind me of my simple goals for this month.

• Exercise
• Join in my friends zumba class
• Be more strick in eating. (No oily and junk food allowed)
• Be more consious in health.
• Lessen the "food trip habbit"
• Eat dinner before 7pm. 
• lose some weight
• Save some money.
• Write at least 3 updates per month.

As much as possible I hope I can do all these goal, this month so that I can bring back my self-confidence .
In reality, I am super bored in what I am doing at work right now. There is no excitement or no thrill you can find. I really hope I can find a good working environment next time.
I know Lord have a better plan for me that's why most of my job interview was failed. I am not in hurry thou.

I just keep my positiveness in everything that I do.

Team Building 2015: Palm Beach Resort - Laiya, Batangas

We stayed there for 1 day and 1 night and do some activities for the team.

The First prize goes to  BLUE team worth 4,000 php, second prize goes to YELLOW team worth 2,500 php and the last but not the list the third prize goes to my team hahaha the RED team worth 1,500. Hahaha not bad though.

We all agreed the the prized will be used to buy some beer and chips for the night gathering.

We really enjoy the game specially that we have some gays in the team that makes more jokes.

The food was served in buffet style and they set the time for breakfast, lunch, meryenda and dinner. So you need to be on time for you to be fed. haha

Sorry if I am not too much detailed. It’s just that we just enjoyed the vacation.

Maybe I will add some details next time.. Hahaha..

I can also recommend this resort if you want to take a vacation privately with your someone.

Gab at 2 (Birthday Preparation)

Ang bilis talaga ng panahon, parang kelan lang nung inanganak ko si Luke Gabriel ko. Ngayon 2 years old na sya. Marunong na maglambing, mang- away at kung anu-ano pa! kaya naman kahit wala kami budget para sa birthday nya. Pinilit ko gawan ng paraan.

Nung first birthday nya kasi talaga naman pinaghandaan naming yun, from the food, to the clowns, giveaways atbp. Pero ngayon dahil wala masyado budget. Napag desisyonan naming nag awing simple lang ang celebration.

So nag start ako mag plan kung anu lang ang mga icoconsider ko na ihanda. I make sure that I have a list of everything that I need para talagang magkasya ang budget ko. Haha..

So here’s the list:

For the food, Inestimate ko ung dami ng bisita at kapitbahay napagbibigyan saka ako namili.

4 kilos of spaghetti    1,500 php

1 ½ pansit bihon with canton  700 php               

2 kilo Biko      300 php

Hotdog on stick with Mallows   250 php

400g na chicken macaroni salad.   300 php

Apple juice                      100 php

Nilagang pata for the ulam      500 php

2 big Bangus for the pulutan haha..    300 php

Tarpulin – Clash of Clans theme ang meron sya’ gawa ng ninang nya.     200 php.

Marble Chiffon Cake – goldilocks, plain lang ako na nagdecorate ng theme  800 php

Paper plates/cup, spoon/fork etc.           250 php

For the sounds naman, hindi na ko ng rent ng videoke, kasi wala naman gano bisita darating. Humiram nalang kami ng sound system sa kapatid ng asawa ko. 2 big speakers na my amplier pa. 

Sad to say hindi kami nakapag kantahan kasi hindi compatible ung cd sa dvd naming. Haha.

Pero kahit hindi ganun ka bongga ang celebration, masaya ako at ng-enjoy ang anak ko! Bawi nalang kami next time haha.

For those mom na nahihirapan mag budget para sa birthday ng babies nila. Hindi naman kelangan lagging bongga. Ang mahalaga yung mabusog mo ung bisita mo at ng enjoy sila.  Hindi na nga ko naka bili ng balloons dyan eh.. haha.

Tip ko lang di bale na konti ang handa basta masarap!

Pwede nyo rin gayahin yung ginawa ko, kayo na lang magdesign ng cake nyo para mas makatipid kayo.
